The website build has taken a little longer than I expected, but I’m proud to announce that the website is finally live!
Tasks completed
- Sitemap created
- Domain purchased, hosting setup
- CDN and SSL configured
- WordPress and theme installed.
- Image Assets created, colour scheme configured.
- Content and Layout done
- Email subscriptions setup, forms configured
- Google Analytics integrated
- Security hardened, automatic backups configured.
- Basic SEO
While the website is more or less complete now I still need to setup the social accounts, and link the site to them. That’s next on my to-do list.
So what’s the purpose of the site
It’s to educate and inform. The site will act as the central hub of information for blog posts, which I’ll then link to from the social media posts. The ‘how to use’ section will be particularly useful for people once they start to use the app, as it will provide some step by step instructions.
I will be able to link to this resource from the MyDosh app in due course.
